- Complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition or Food Science (4 years).
- Complete a Master of Science degree in Nutrition (2 years) after completing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
After completing your degree, you must complete a supervised practice program and pass the Nutrition Society of New Zealand (NSNZ) registration exam to become a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr).
